For Reading Out Loud – Ephesians 6

Writing to someone you love is not a forgotten art. It still takes place today. What helps us to do it well today is considering how well others did it in yesteryear.

There can be no doubt that Paul loved the saints in Ephesus a great deal. The time he spent there in developing the community of grace and his subsequent encouragement to them displayed the heart of a man desperate to see Christ developed in the community.

We get to hear this in the final words of a letter directed to them that;s not just giving instruction on family life, but it also encourages the saints to recognise the reality of the warfare they’re in and how they can experience victory.

Listen to it here for your good and others.
