They walk beside you. Not ahead of you so you see their back. Not behind you so you crane your neck.
They walk beside you. You’re going in the same direction and have a different perspective to enrich forward movement. When it’s time to rest, it’s face-to-face, on a level to appreciate the mutual benefits of the engagement.
As the relationship is there to seek to serve the other and not to primarily be served, such is the blessing of the friendship.
