Dryden Shorts: I Mean It

I didn’t mean it.

I know it happened. I know it was wrong. It was me, but I didn’t mean it.

Now that it’s happened, I look to learn.

I will repent. I will make amends where possible. I will grow from it and be better by learning to trust God more. I’m grateful for forgiveness and restoration, I know I don’t have to be defined and tarnished by these actions. As the Spirit of God lives in me, so I endeavour to grow.

I mean it.
