Dryden Links: What Kind of Leader?

Jesus Christ is a major reason for this blog. I blog here because I love Him and the life that I live always endeavours to be for His Name’s sake. Having been brought up in a very sheltered and comfortable background that was always limited in terms of scope, coming across blogs opened me up to ways of seeeing life in Christ that I’d never considered or explored before.

Chris Jefferies over at Journeys of Heart and Mind provides a range of thoughts and insights on life and faith. These blogs have been a part of the process to help me look at church and asking questions that I never properly investigated.

He did a series of blogs on the church that really dug into the question: What Are We Doing? I commend the series to you without reservation. There is a great opportunity to delve deep into answering questions of the purpose and nature of the church.

One part that I encourage you to consider, though, is how Chris challenges us about the kind of leadership that should be the hallmark of the church. There’s a great video on there as well that addresses the perspective on leadership that is well worth watching as well.

I’m grateful for the series that Chris put together, I trust you will be duly enriched by the experience of engaging with it as well..

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
