It is the world some live in.
There is an incessant machine churning. It’s the machine of life that tells you to get up, get changed, get everyone sorted, get to work, get the job done, get home, get everyone sorted, get to bed, get some sleep to get up and start the whole thing again – if you get it.
In all of that, however, there are elements of life that are not about behaving like a machine. The walks in the park, those games you can play without using a screen and electronic device, that book that takes you into its world to such a degree that you barely remember what was real and what isn’t.
From time to time in the machine of life, it is worthwhile taking some time away from it to catch up on those things. It is not always about the money it will take or how you want to just do nothing for a change.
It’s good to good to catch up with things from time to time. Before you get back on the machine.
