Psalm 121 – What A Comfort

When I was a child, sometimes I would get scared before going to bed. It would take my Mum or Dad to sit with me and calm me down. They weren’t the storytelling types, but they did the best they could and knowing they were there for me like that was a great reassurance in itself.

I read this Psalm and it has a greater reassuring factor for me from my heavenly Father. He knows that in times of trouble we can look to Him to help us, we can be assured again that He looks out for us and His presence is enough to know nothing is greater.

I am grateful for this reassurance. I am also grateful that this beautiful Psalm has been committed to choral rendition. Enjoy.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
