YIR16 – 02 – Living In Between

It wasn’t full out frustration that marked this time of the year. February was still a time of activity and the degree of engagement with certain initiatives showed no sign of abating.

What was also clear at the time, however, was the sense of living in between. Studying the book of Exodus wasn’t just about getting out, but about what it was to live in between coming out and going in. I did not realise at the time that there was a lot more upheaval to go through, but it was definitely a time for working through the end of certain things as others were in their budding stages.

What helped with the in between stage was the love of good people. Some relationships were proving to be pivotal in my focus on God at the time. It also helped me to take some key decisions to help get me in the right frame of mind for what it would take to make progress in those uncertain times.

For His Name’s Sake
