Back at the beginning of this month, I mentioned what a fan I am of November. As the month reaches its close I am still a big admirer of the month.
Although the 2015 edition will not go down in history as the greatest of my lifetime there have been highlights. One of the most significant is the series on what to give God thanks for. There’s a hymn that suggests we count our blessings and name them one by one. Despite a number of undesirable incidents over the month, the activity of highlighting just one thing in a day to be grateful for has done wonders for my mental health and sense of stability.
My hope is that as long as I am in a sound mind I will continue the practice of specifically being grateful and admiring the goodness of the Lord in everything. God has been good to me in November 2015.
For that I am grateful.
For His Name’s Sake
