There’s no need to think about there being a reason for everything. I think getting hung up on the reason for anything and everything distracts from the things that matter.
Identity is something I have got hung up on for years. One of the reassuring things about having good people in my life is they remind me that my identity is wrapped up in Jesus. He didn’t just save me, He gives me a reason to live. A purpose.
Getting involved in all of life being about the Kingdom – pursuing peace, cultivating relationships that get people into being a part of that, understanding what real love means, what amazing grace is, seeing mercy in action through tough circumstances.
Things happen to distract us and obstruct. It’s good to know, though, that there’s always something there to remind us that there is a purpose far greater than self that’s worth giving self over to for life.
For that I am grateful.
For His Name’s Sake

Great post! Yes indeed. It helps a great deal to lose ourselves into something greater. It helps greatly to forget our problems while God sorts things out for us. Hard to do but it gets easier and easier after each storm.
Abundant blessings, Emma
