When You Never Forget The Good Times

Times change and so do people.

You may not move location, but you certainly move in the dynamic of relationships. There are times when you move so far that you get to a point where you wonder if you have gone too far. It’s not that you’ve gone too far, though, it’s just that you’ve moved on. What helps the progress is from time to time the memory of those good times you came across as you progressed.

I’m grateful to God for the good times. There were good times – great accomplishments, sweet conversations, serene moments, gorgeous meals with good friends. Even on those upsetting occasions there were people who helped you through and comforted and consoled. People who stood beside you and never gave up on you.

Good times, good people, good memories.

They help in progress because they inspire the hope of good memories yet to be made, even in the waiting room of life’s experiences.

For His Name’s Sake
