More than ever it is important to have a grasp on what are the basics of faith and why these are held. There is nothing to suggest because of the eloquence and rationality of the position put across someone will be convinced, but it is making others as well as yourself aware of that which is fundamental to life. When life is lived out of conviction for the foundations of faith, there is little that anyone can say about it.
It was in the Spring of 2005 that I first thought about putting together something on the basics of my beliefs and there have been little windows here and there to develop that. It was since 2010, however that the chance came to put those opportunities to the test. This is an ongoing series outlining the what I believe in and why.
